  • in May 2024, Mack directed the Makers Lab reading of Elsewhere by their dear friend Wes Olivier/Klondyke. Klon’s author’s note for the piece sums it up:
This world is both ours and not. Both real and fictional. A fable and an anecdote. Transness is inherent to this process and work. Radical revolutionary mindset is central. Shadow work in the self and the community. Together we rise. Darkness is the mother of light. The daughter, causality. Her twin, time.

About the play: Four groovy teens and a dog search the woods in their van to solve a mystery while exploring drugs, queerness, and the fear that men in rubber masks are scarier than monsters. The four question the world they know, looking into the parts of their history they would rather avoid.

    Streamed Dec 9-11, 2021

About Insomniacs: Noah, Samir, Aubrey, and Mae just want to have their regular weekly brunch, but all four are about to bear witness to a literal miracle — and not a tidy, nice, Sunday School miracle, but a chthonic, unsettling rending apart of the laws of nature. Insomniacs is a surreal, intimate show about a mostly trans polycule in Brooklyn fumbling and failing towards forgiveness while haunted by visions of the end of the world.
